Sharing The Good Times
Skyline sanctuary hovering above
Ghost white clouds drift
Heaven allows one soul
To remember good times
Joining family and friends
Bonding together in prayer.

The Heat is On
Green grass cut
Dedicated lawnmower mover
Topless next-door neighbour
Both gradually turning brown.

Smiles from somewhere
Enthusiastic clapping followed
Maybe just maybe

You Never Left My Heart
Sixteen years pass so quick
It seems like only yesterday
I said hello then goodbye
To my loving stillborn Grandson.

She Had a Dream
Keen young footballer
Hope inspired skill
Devoted single ambition
One day playing
Famous Red Devils
Ten years old
Life cruelly taken
Angels sadly welcome
A broken dream.

Superpower Witchhunt
Preying wolves combine
Two battle fronts
Human cost astronomical
Boxed into submission
Devastation asks why?
The misguided Madmen
Smokescreen of peace
Keep fighting Ukraine
Enough is enough
A cease fire
We pray for.

The Ultimate Goal Poacher
Up against the legendary Lawman
Hard defender's hopeless case
Thunderbolt strike all mighty roar
True Stretford End King arm upright salute
Forever acclaimed never will we forget.
Sunday 26th January 2025 12:44 pm
Charcoal City
Roadrunner orange glow
Unrelenting wildfires devour homes
Inside smothering grief
Only memories remain.
