Hello all~ My name is Breann, but you may call me Bre. I am a 1997 born woman who has always had a passion for poetry- something I did not truly realize until I was in my early twenties. Being in a time of my life where my thoughts consume me to the point where I feel as though I cannot live peacefully, I created this profile to publish all my thoughts, but for the first time ever, as a poet. I hope you all that may come across my profile enjoy my little words but also leave any constructive criticism to improve my work as I am but an amateur. Thank you kindly for visiting, Bre Mae

Answers in the Stars

Every night I look above to the stars listening for answers to questions that have not yet even left my lips My eyes graze the spotted horizon looking for a sign that will silence my thoughts just long enough to exhale and soothe my soul Some nights I hear soft whispers encouraging me to no longer worry and mope, some nights, a deafening silence reminding me of my own loneliness The man in the moon sits in the skies, slowly stalking those of us that stare at him back- I call out to him for guidance but he disappears before I can finish my plea Turning back to all the little stars, I painfully digest that I may not understand the answers they shine nightly
