Preamble.... Im reposting this in memory of my mate. From time ago. Young men who thought war was something to do with excitement and proud times. I'd tell you there are now more veterans of the Falklands war have killed themselves then died in the war.

What a fate,
We’d laughed
and cavorted
Before the fun.
I’d had sex
In Pompey
And lots of rum.
