lonely (Remove filter)
What are words worth?
I wandered lonely in a crowd
Brushing up against shoulders
Colliding with legs
but feeling distant and alone
hearing no words of apology
only mutterings of annoyance.
I wondered lonely in a crowd
do we notice each other
or are too caught up in ourselves?
Minds a tangled mess of thoughts
A maze leading to who knows where
Losing our way again and again.
