The Insomnia That Plagues
Kept awake in the darkness, under a heavy starless sky,
As I lie here restless, a prisoner of the in between.
Tempestous Hell beneath me, tender Heaven afloat up high.
How can you exhume a soul, especially one unseen?
Raging emotions consume me, like an insatiable fire,
Yet I again fade away to the light, howling at an invisible Moon.
