Another poet in the family

It seems I have a rival in the family from the poetry side of things.

My 11-years old Granddaughter Beatrix has recently discovered that I have a poetry website and has decided to begin writing her own, starting with haiku. Here is her first attempt, which I have to say is too damn good for my liking. I think I'm going to have to 'up' my game.

whispers in the breeze

leaves fall slow like memories

earth exhales in peace

Three remarkable lines, Graham. She seems way ahead of where I was then (or possibly even now!).
