A very appealing idea - the mixture of practicality and poetry combining to ease our afflictions. There is strong evidence to
support the belief that music works with mental health so why not
the flow of words and ideas deftly designed and dispensed?
I recall an appeal on Indiegogo (to which I subscribed) for funds
to set up a poetry shop here in London that didn't seem to materialise
and I wish this project every success in putting this idea to use AND
injecting new life into a fine old high street shop premises in need
of some TLC in a beautiful part of England.

No small achievement this Phil. It would be quite demanding to read in the right way to an audience, a challenge. A great idea, almost a Bach invention in itself. Talking of him, I bought a Jacques Loussier CD recently. Quite stylistic in its time.

Hey David,

Some days ago, I was crossing, feeling a bit small--to be without comradeship in such a crowded city can be difficult. That day, there was a slow gypsy guitar playing and I felt in that moment like he must have been there for me--it was so poignant and beautiful that the emotion overwhelmed me.

I recorded some of his playing and have considered putting it up for others, but I have to find a video accompaniment because my camera caught only my shoe ;

Thanks for commenting--this experience has its disorienting moments, but I haven't looked over the edge from here, as of yet.

I'll keep you posted...
